Doreen King

Doreen King graduated from University College Galway (NUIG) with with an honours Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree in 1987.
She spent five years working in London and Boston in a number of Civil and Structural Consulting Engineering firms, based both in the design office and on site.
On her return to Ireland she worked in Kildare County Council Road Design and Environment Section before setting up Doyle & King Consulting Engineers, which later expanded to become SMG Doyle King, with her colleague, Natalie Doyle, in 1997. During this period she obtained a diploma in Environmental Protection from Sligo Institute of Technology.
Doreen has been involved in a wide variety of civil and building projects including;
